Engineering Assembly
Visitor from the movies!
This week we welcomed Neil Goodman, an experienced civil engineer (who has worked in the movies too) to STOKENCHURCH to talk to the children about his job and the important role engineers play in the world around us to solve problems and make our lives easier. The children now have the opportunity to take part in the ‘If you were an engineer, what would you do?’ national competition (which you may remember was won by a Y5 student from Stokie last year) in which they have to design a machine or product of their own. The children really enjoyed the assembly and were excited to get involved so look out for the details coming home soon. Thank you to Miss Blandford for arranging the challenge - the children loved it!
