During Spring 2, children will be consolidating their learning of phonics and practising many of the sounds that have already been taught. Based on assessments completed by class teachers, children will be grouped on their current knowledge of level 2 and level 3 sounds which will enable them to access the level of teaching most appropriate to their current understanding. There will be activities available each day that will encourage recognition of phonemes and support blending and segmenting in a fun and exciting environment.
