Huge congratulations to Lailah in Year 6 who was shortlisted to the final 50 (out of 45,000 entries) in the national ‘BBC 500 Words’ competition. She wrote an incredible story as having been selected as a finalist, she was invited to Buckingham Palace this week on Wednesday. She shared her story with the Queen, Sir Lenny Henry, Tom Hiddlestone and a host of other important people. We are REALLY proud of her and her very special story, but will leave you all to watch ‘The One Show’ on BBC1 on Thursday evening to see where she came!
