Welcome to Year 5 Autumn Term 2, 2025!

Dear Parents, Carers and Pupils,

Welcome back!  We hope you have had a lovely summer holiday.

This term, our main topics are: History – Were the Vikings Raiders, Traders or Something Else? and DT - Textiles: Stuffed Toys.

In English, we will be writing a character description and a diary entry using the book Odd and the Frost Giants by Neil Gaiman.

In maths, we will focus on multiplication and division, then a second unit covering fractions.

You can find details of homework on the relevant page under 'In this section'.  

PE days will be Wednesdays and Thursdays – please ensure that your child has the correct, named school PE kit on these days.
